Indy Art & Seek
April 2020
Neon “caterpillars” hidden throughout a westside park for kids to find. A sound installation engaging the listener with the environment. A Comm-UNITY dance performance on the near-eastside that spreads light and joy.
More than 100 public art interventions, or “moments of delight” are waiting to be discovered throughout the city’s neighborhoods as part of Indy Art & Seek. Many of these neighborhoods currently have little to no public art. These art experiences, created by Indianapolis artists and performers, are designed to reflect a sense of identity and place, promote equity and inclusivity, and encourage communities to see their surroundings in new ways.
Download the new Indy Art & Seek app, which will launch on Sept. 5, just in time for Labor Day weekend, and enjoy a virtual tour, or create your own in-real-life adventure.
