The Indy Arts and Culture Restart & Resilience Fund of the Indy Arts Council was a $10 million grant program made possible by Lilly Endowment Inc. It is designed to support arts and cultural organizations that are based in Indianapolis/Marion County as they reopen and reimagine mission delivery in a world informed by the realities of COVID-19.
Round 2 of the Indy Arts and Culture Restart & Resilience Fund is designed to provide financial relief to nonprofit arts and culture organizations in Indianapolis/Marion County for all non-duplicative eligible expenses incurred/paid from May 2020 through December 31, 2022. Up to $413,837 is eligible for distribution under Round 2 of this program.
All information submitted as a part of this application process is confidential. A list of all grantees will be made public. Maximum grant request is $8,000, but the expectation is that grants will average $3,000 - $8,000. Applications will be evaluated by Indy Arts Council staff members for compliance with eligible reimbursement and will receive final approval by the Grants Committee of the Arts Council Board of Directors.
Only those nonprofit arts and culture organizations who were eligible for the 2020 & 2021 rounds of the Indy Arts and Culture Restart & Resilience Fund are eligible to apply for Round 2 funding.
